L'Acadie Vineyards
L'Acadie is a family operated winery in the Gaspereau Valley. They're most known for their Traditional Method Sparkling, but they make Charmat method and Pet-Nat as well. Their Orange wine and Tidal Bays are stellar still wines.

Benjamin Bridge
Benjamin Bridge is a primarily sparkling wine house that has been listening to their customers for years, and makes amazing still wines, as well as many non-alc and canned products.

Blomidon Estate Winery
This is where my heart is. Its the winery I've worked the most at, and learned the most from. I've had my highest of highs in these fields, and my lowest of lows.
They make incredible wine too.

Lightfoot & Wolfville
Lightfoot & Wolfville was started by 7th generation farmers, who've taken some lesser known grapes and turned them into incredible wines, like their Kekfrankos and Scheurebe. They also have great bubbly options.

Mercator Vineyards
The retail shop for Mercator is in a cozy old farm house with nooks and crannies to explore. Their wine are made with care and are great representations of old world style Rose and Chardonnay.

Avondale Sky Winery
Avondale Sky wines always pack a big punch, they're known for their Drops of Amber wine. They have an incredible variety of dry to sweet whites and reds. They're my sleeping giant of the Nova Scotia wine world.

If you want Ortega - go here. They're well known for their views and phone box, but their white wines are so much fun!

Beausoleil Farmstead
Beausoleil is the smallest winery and cidery that we can visit. They blur the lines between wine and cider in the most delicious way. They also make stellar Chardonnay, and are making their first Tidal Bay this year!
If you want to sit and enjoy a long, delicious lunch, this is the place to go.
Grand Pre Winery
The wines are also incredible, and their hospitality is top notch. Take a walk through the vines to the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Grand Pre and I'll pick you up on the other side!

Gaspereau is known for their crisp, aromatic white wines, and their rose which has a dash of Riesling, an homage to the winemakers experience in Europe.

Well, its hard. I love so many wines. Each winery has its specialty and that is what they do best. I generally reach for traditional method sparklings from L'Acadie, Blomidon and Benjamin Bridge though!
